Sep 12th 2011 16:17 Report Abuse | | My Dad and I were chased out of a Wotton farmer’s field by a herd of highly aggressive, ninja-trained killer Limousin and Charolais cows in the early ‘70’s (or perhaps they were placid Freisian cows and just a bit curious). I distinctly remember on another occasion from back then stepping in a cow pat and my welly filling up with said pat. How my old man laughed! |

Not really connected, other than in a farm animal sort of way, but currently residing in the barn on the right hand side about half a mile into Ozleworth Bottom from Wortley is the largest pig I have ever seen in my life. And Mrs Pig, not quite so huge. There's a footpath down there so you can go and say hello from the safety of the other side of the fence if you wish.
Enormous he is, absolutely gigantic. |
