A place where things not fitting above and not directly involving Wotton or humourous, offbeat, "New Year Resolutions" and things that wouldn't be out of place in a chatroom.

Jan 22nd 2008 05:43 Report Abuse | | You said, "the minute someone acknowledges how fantastic a chat thread is, that particular chat thread then starts to die", so in response I said, "the Word Association thread is the most fantastic fantastic thread ever ever ever and I hope it never starts to die", in the hope that it would die. I assumed you were referring to all threads as being chat threads, rather than specifically Chat threads 1,2,3 and 4. Didn't read it properly. I thought I was being ironic or sardonic or something, but can now see that I wasn't.

Exciting - we can enjoy an extra three minutes dull grey miserable drizzly gloom in just one day.

Jan 25th 2008 07:31 Report Abuse | | It's been a difficult week in many ways, but at last it's vendredi (Sunrise 08:00 (GMT), Sunset 16:44 (GMT)) and there are nine more minutes of daylight available than there were on Tuesday. Not sure I can take the excitement of this double dose of good news. |
