Ah Robobok glad you remember it too. It was made, as I remember, of various different obstacle challenges with a liberal sprinkling of hay/straw bales from which we had to throw ourselves hence the sprained ankle. It must have been before 1977 but I can't remember which year exactly. I went to The British School until 1977.

Tubbs: I like the map - what date is this from? Is it available anywhere online in higher resolution?

Zen & Doodlebug: I'm going to have to ask; why was it called Wrigglo?

Chand: Why are you asking me? I never mentioned Wrigglo. I have no idea what it is.

I don't know for sure why it was Wrigglo but guessing it was because you had to wiggle wriggle and squirm your way through the various obstacles. The map is good- its a real centre of information this forum- is there a family history bit to it? I have had a bit of a look around but haven't found anything yetsmile

Welcome to the forum Ali! You will fit in well here. Of course that is a well worn joke but the grid reference is a nice touch...

In the Welcome section tell us a bit about your connections to our favourite town.
