Perhaps our Lesley was half cut when she put her name to the leaflet. Or half interested. Not forgetting her conservatives colleagues of course.

Wonder if any of them has ever lost a beige Helly Hansen fleece?

Thanx Lesley.

Blade: the paper is a disappointingly grade, too soft for ripping to pieces in fury, but too hard to satisfactorily wipe one's posterior.

Rob: if Lesley or any of her her conservatives colleagues have ever lost a beige Helly Hansen fleece, I'm afraid I for one will not be volunteering to search for it, thanx all the same.

What's happening with the Full Moon then? Shut for over a month now.

There's probably a page on Facebook with the answer, but I'm not going on there, it's depressing and scary.

As i understand it. Because the community, will be putting in a right to buy. The conclusion of the Full Moon, will not be made until December, or there abouts. That is why it's gone very quite.
Sources have also told me. The Synwell Social Club. Are finding it hard to get people to stand on the committee. Which is not a go sign, for the future. I don't know what the outcome will be, for these two institutions. But if they both close. There will be no drinking hole, or pub activities, for the community. This end of the town.
Whats the saying "use it or lose it".

Photo shoot at the FULL MOON for the Gazette.
Come rain or shine. Bring your family, and show your support.
This is to publicise the community fight to keep the Full Moon.

I've just thought of a genius plan to save the Full Moon pub!

Once the new houses have been built, the beautiful "Welcome to Wotton-under-Edge" sign should be placed on it without council permission. This will cause the council to order that the sign be removed, the houses demolished, and the disused pub be rebuilt.

Even if nobody runs the pub, a disused pub building is far better than houses for people to live in, right? At the very least it would be somewhere for homeless people to squat in and take drugs, which I'm very much in favour of.
