Free Hockey taster sessions to celebrate pitch opening
The 2013/14 season promises to be an exciting one for Wotton under Edge Hockey Club both on and off the pitch.

The 2013/14 season promises to be an exciting one for Wotton under Edge Hockey Club both on and off the pitch. A mens 3rd XI has been added in addition to the 2 ladies teams and large junior section, and as we move into 2014 we celebrate the club’s 25th anniversary. This year we play on ‘home turf’ for the first time with the opening of a new Astroturf pitch at KLB school/sports centre, just outside Wotton.

Though the official opening of the pitch takes place on 21st September, to launch the opening of the new pitch, we are also offering free taster sessions at our Club Day on Saturday 7th September:

10.00 - 11.30 Juniors (aged 7-11)

1000 – 1130 Back to Hockey for adults  (suitable for novices and returning players who’ve not picked up a stick for a while)

11.30 - 12.30 Vixens and Badgers (boys and girls U16s)

No registration required, just turn up on the day!

We are always keen to get more young people into hockey, so we have arranged free training sessions throughout the rest of September for children under 16.

Junior sessions are (boys and girls 7-11) on Wednesday 6.30-730 and Thursday evenings 5.30-6.30, (please choose one session to attend!)

Badgers and Vixens (boys and girls u16s) training is on Thursday evenings. 6.30-7.30
