    Baby Cafe , Wednesday 22nd Aug

    Baby Café is an informal meeting place for parents, grandparents and carers of babies and toddlers. It is held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 2-4pm at the United Church in Bradley St.
    Unlimited tea/coffee/soft drinks, cake and biscuits are served by helpers who are nearly all grandmas and like to feel that they are offering a relaxing afternoon for the customers.
    At only £1 per session, the comfortable and warm surroundings is often referred to as 'the best place to meet'

    133rd HAWKESBURY HORTICULTURAL SHOW

    Saturday 25th August 2018

    Horticultural Produce and Crafts Show

    at the Village Hall and Rec, High Street, Hawkesbury Upton GL9 1AU.

    Entertainment in the main arena:
    - "Jez Avery Stunt Driver" - Jez performs all his own spectacular stunts "on four wheels, two wheels, one wheel and no wheels", with audience participation.
    - "Michael Davie Falconry Display" - Back by popular demand, Michael provides an amazing falconry show, with both static and interactive displays.
    - "Tricky Micky" – Punch & Judy Fun Show for all the family throughout the afternoon.

    Rogers' Fairground rides * Tractor Pull Competition * Grand Raffle * Bath Archers * Hog and Deer Roast * Beer & Cider Tent * Pimms Tent * many Trade, Charity & Craft stalls

    Showground gates open at 12.30pm
    Adults £5, Senior Citizens £3, Children £2, Family ticket £12 (2 adults + up to 4 children)

    Carnival Queen crowned at 1.30pm on The Plain

    Auction of produce at 7pm - Auctioneer: Mr Nick Cragg

    Dogs welcome on a lead ~ Disabled parking in the Village Hall car park ~ Wheelchair accessible
    (High Street closed to vehicles 1.15pm – 2.00pm)
